Konica Minolta’s “Emerald Education Program” Series: Recycled Paper Making Workshop

Konica Minolta’s “Emerald Education Program” Series: Recycled Paper Making Workshop

Konica Minolta has committed to promote its corporate spirit “Green At Heart” to the public. In 2013, it has organized “Emerald Education Program” with Green Sense again to enhance the local students’ experience outside of the classroom, encouraging them in environmental protection. The first activity, Recycled Paper Making Workshop, was held on 22 June 2013.

The workshop taught participants how to cope with waste papers in a proper way and make recycled papers. So when they found that paper production had to involve a great deal of material and energy, they would more understand the importance of forest and natural resources conservation. With the guidance of the tutor and Konica Minolta’s volunteers, pupils worked together to make creative recycled papers by blending old newspapers, plus adding fallen leaves and petals for decoration.

Konica Minolta will organize more environmental activities to spread green message and contribute to the society.
